Give the item a name so a finder knows what they’ve found. Update its details from your account.

All support questionsIs it a GPS tracker?
No. A Gear Tag gives someone who finds your item a way to message you. It has no battery and does not track the item’s position.
Does the finder need an app?
No. They can tap with a compatible NFC phone or scan the QR code with their camera. An internet connection is needed to open the tag page.
Who can see my contact details?
Your email address and phone number are not displayed on the public Gear Tag page. You choose what to share when replying to the finder.
How do I reply to a finder?
Read their message in your account and reply to the email address they provide. A message is not a guarantee that the item will be returned.
Do I need a subscription?
No. Finder messages, multiple-tag management and Lost status are included with Basic. Pro adds optional tools. Pro subscription purchasing is not currently available.
How do I activate a gift?
The gift recipient signs in or creates a free account, then uses the activation details for each tag. Each tag is activated separately.
